Q: Do I have to register to place an order?
A: No. When paying for an order with PayPal, you do not need to be a registered user on our site. However, if you would like to check out using a credit card or a gift card purchased from us, you will need to register for an account with us. In order to place a wholesale order, you must first request a wholesale account with www.bluehourdesigns.com.
Q: What types of payment methods do you accept?
A: We currently accept all major credit cards, PayPal and gift cards purchased from Blue Hour Designs.
Q: How do I track the status of my order?
A: You can track your current order and view your order history by visiting Order History tab in my account after logging in.
Q: Your prices all appear to be in USD. Can I place an order using another currency?
A: Yes, all prices shown on www.bluehourdesigns.com are in USD. However, this does not prevent you from paying for an order with a credit card that is based on a currency other than USD as all charged amounts will be automatically converted by your credit card company.
SHIPPING
Q: Can I ship to a person other than myself?
A: Yes, you can send the package directly to your loved one. Also, if you would like to add a personalized note, we’d be happy to include that free of charge.
Q: How long are your shipping times?
A: It really depends on which shipping method you choose upon checkout and the destination of your package. International shipping times can take as long as 21 business days. Estimated delivery times of domestic packages are following:
USPS First Class: 2-9 days, but in most cases 2-4 business days to the contiguous 48 states.
USPS Priority: 2-3 business days.
USPS Express Delivery: Next business day (for in stock items ONLY and when ordered before 11 AM MST).
Q: Is there any way for me to track my package?
A: Domestic packages, yes. International packages, in most cases, no. When we ship our domestic packages, we always provide you the tracking number.
Q: What if my package got lost in the mail?
A: It probably didn’t. In most cases, the package is just taking the long route to get to you :) Sometimes, foreign customs can inject a significant delay. However, if your package is long over due, please contact us as we may have additional means of tracking down your package.
Q: Do you ship internationally? Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
A: Yes, we ship anywhere USPS ships, which is just about anywhere in the world. Please note that some countries charge duty or VAT on imported items. You as the buyer are responsible for these fees, if any.
Q: Can I insure my package?
A: Yes, we can add insurance to your package at an additional cost. Please note that unless your package is insured, we are not responsible for any packages that have got lost in the mail.
RETURNS
Q: Do you have a return policy?
A: Yes, we do. All unwanted items must be returned to us within 10 days of receipt. For more details regarding our returns policy, see our general Terms & Conditions.

Q: How long are your gift cards valid?
A: Our gift cards have no expiration date.
Q: Could you engrave a little message on the piece of jewelry I want to purchase?
A: Unfortunately not. We are currently not set up to engrave any of our jewelry.
Q: How do I figure out my ring size?
A: It is best if you can have your finger measured with a ring sizer. Most jewelers provide this service for free. However, if you are unable to do so, there are many complimentary ring sizers online that also work quite well. We usually refer our customers to www.bluenile.com/find-ring-size
Q: Is all your jewelry really handmade?
A: Yes, all jewelry by Blue Hour Designs is handmade by Alysia in Colorado, U.S.A. Norbert occasionally lends a helping hand when some task requires a little more muscle behind it. We take a lot of pride in our jewelry, pay a lot of attention to detail and strongly believe in using only high quality materials.
Q: Where do you buy your metals?
A: We proudly purchase all our silver from Hoover & Strong. They are one of the very few precious metal distributors who exclusively sell recycled and reclaimed metals and conflict free diamonds.
Being eco-conscious is very important to us, in general. In addition to using recycled metals, we also use all natural alternatives to many chemicals normally used during metalsmithing. Most of our packaging is made out of recycled materials and in order to save a few more trees, we don’t provide paper invoices unless specifically requested.
Q: I noticed that a percentage of each purchase goes to a charity. How did you select the charities?
A: Blue Hour Designs contributes a percentage of each jewelry purchase made on www.bluehourdesigns.com to a charity. You as the buyer can select one of the charities from our list. Most of the charities we contribute to are geared towards helping children or fostering entrepreneurship in impoverished countries.
